Dear DRHS Alumni & Friends:

Pictures from “home.” Everyone who attended school in Dell Rapids at one time

or another surely has memories of these scenes. Maybe you still live right here and enjoy the view every day. Maybe you haven’t been back in years. Either way, we invite you to come “home again” to attend the seventh DELL RAPIDS HIGH SCHOOL ALL-CLASS REUNION JULY 2 & 3, 2005!

Festivities will begin Saturday, July 2nd, with a banquet and entertainment at the

Ramkota Inn, Sioux Falls. An ecumenical church service will be held Sunday

morning, July 3rd, in the elementary school gym, followed by a catered picnic in the city park. Other special events will include a golf open and tours of the public schools. Sioux Falls will host a national baseball tournament the same week as our reunion. Hotel rooms will be hard to come by in the city so we urge you to book your accommodations as soon as possible. The Brimark Inn is close to the Ramkota; call 605-332-2000 or 1-800-658-4508 for reservations. Tell them you are with the DRHS Reunion to ensure that your room will be in the reserved block at our special rate.  The Ramkota Inn can not give us a block of rooms; however, the new Ramkota Clubhouse Hotel & Suites will be open by next year. Call the Ramkota Inn at 605-336-0650 and ask for Val Carman; he will take reservations for the DRHS reunion for the Clubhouse Hotel & Suites. Shuttle buses will run between the two Ramkota facilities. You can also check with the Rose Stone Inn in Dell Rapids (605-428-3698; on the Web at www.rosestoneinn.com) or the new Super 8 Motel in Dell Rapids (605-428-4288; on the Web at www.super8.com). All reservations must be made 30 days prior to our event.

Please help us: (1) send address corrections; (2) let us know if someone has

been missed — send name, address and year of graduation; (3) notify us if a nongrad would like to attend by sending name and address (specify non-grad and year they would have graduated); (4) send names, addresses and years at DRHS of former teachers you would like to have attend.

A registration letter will be sent early next year, explaining all arrangements in

detail. Meanwhile, we hope you will correspond with old friends and make plans to come “home again” for this special reunion.
